About Us

Wagler Construction was founded in Sarasota, FL by Pete Wagler in 1974. Working in the construction industry for many years prior to the inception of Wagler Construction, Pete saw the demand for a concrete construction company that stressed honesty, quality and reliability. He then formed Wagler Construction with that in mind and has built the company into a very reputable business among builders along the gulfcoast of Florida.

In January of 2000, Brent Wagler (Pete's son) was appointed CEO of Wagler Construction with Pete Wagler remaining as President. Brent Wagler has successfully continued the strong tradition of Wagler Construction in the concrete construction business while growing the company to its current size of working for more than 20 builders. In 2002, Brent expanded Wagler Constrution by launching a Home Building division within Wagler Construction. Since its inception, the Home Building Division has also built a strong reputation in the industry by providing excellence in custom homes and remodeling.

Wagler Constrution strives to be the best in the construction industry in the two different construction fields that it offers. Wagler Construction’s reputation was built on high standards and continues the tradition by continually exceeding expectations in the construction industry. This is accomplished by employing the best in the industry and by maintaining a strong belief that working owners maintain excellence as both Pete and Brent work in the field everyday.
